Not Forgotten

“Don’t know if you will get this. My name is Donald Whitsitt, in 2003 I was a CID agent who worked his death. I pulled out his wallet and saw his pictures and that is the first time after being there since the beginning that it hit me. I swore I would never forget him. Every Veterans Day I buy a six pack and drink with him and salute him even though I never knew him. You can say he touched folks he didn’t even know he did. Be proud of him and never forget, God bless you guys.” CPT Whitsitt

NJ Run for the Fallen 2012

Last week Brian’s mother and sister participated in the NJ Run for the Fallen. Each mile of sweat and pain and each flag saluted, is to pay homage to one service member’s life and their family.

Tonight’s flag ceremony at Cape May Point is cancelled due to inclement weather. Thank you as always to everyone who comes out to remember Brian with us on this anniversary. His flag will fly again on Sept 18 2013. See you next year.
