Faunce Hall Inaugeration
KEMPTON, PA — This summer the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), PA Wing completed a major renovation to its Ranger School facility at Hawk Mountain. The Cadet Command vans were upgraded from rusted out vehicles on railroad ties to real cabins that are the working headquarters for the staff.
With the help of a donation from the CPT Brian Faunce Memorial Fund, the new Cadet Commander’s cabin was outfitted, including a desk, computer, bunks, and a lounge chair. CAP dedicated the Cadet Commander’s cabin “Faunce Hall” on Sept 11, 2004. On the wall hangs a plaque with the dedication, a flag and the gold star banner to honor his memory.
